Paeds memories..

Well for the past 2 month, my life was evolved around kids and i really love that ;) except the fact that they are sick. Its kind of different situation and of course cries was everywhere. But it really touch me when those in chronic condition can still be able to give you smile (and it was very sweet!!)..
Those babies with their small hands struggling for live in the incubator with the countless support from their parents..really made me valued my parents though. Here are one of the pics with Ah Kae one of the Down Syndrome patient that currently is oxygen dependent..really miss him.

Causeway Bay Restaurant

At first, i really thought that i can't eat dim sum her in Kuching as most of it is non-halal..but when my fren told me this place, i was delighted as it wa HALAL. Furthermore, there are malay workers n it was also on the newspaper. Since then, i would go there wif nana/ sanpei (whoever can bring me, hehe...) often :p. Well i also introduced it to my other malay frens, n they luv it as well. The big bun above is bor lo bun filled with crisp like pineaple jam (luv it) cost RM2. Picture beside it is yam puff...Everytime i came here, i'll try new menu...:)

Chicago

Another fast food outlet of my choice...found here, not yet seen in JB.
I love the fries a lot (so soft..really suit my taste)..Others serve fried chicken, with all sorts of burgers/hotdogs..
Situated at Jalan Rock, well quite business strategic as it is near cakehouse (Mita and Taka) n also opposite was KFC and Pizza Hut. There's lot of people (mailny teenagers) at peak time.

Here In My Home

Well i really love this video and the song, Hope u guys enjoy it too..It shows unity and makes me proud to be Malaysian. Thus this is our home together wif frends and family. Emm, talking about home making me missing my mom badly now..

Liza's Gourmet

My first try tonight with my frends for dinner..It was not a wrong choice afterall. Situated nearby UNITAR, couldn't get the full address. But if u drive further up u'll see Kafe Bunda, Jentayu Black Pepper (i mention earlier in blog) and Satok. What i really like is the portion is quite satisfying with fairly price. It is open from 6pm to 12 am, there's another branch at 4th Mile (acorrding to the waitress) that open during the day (lunch, not sure breakfast) till 10 pm. Before it has its branch in Samarahan near UNIMAS, but it was closed now. Nasi lelapan which i thought was ayam penyek turns to be ikan bawal, however the ulam still the same+ tauhu wif sambal kacang but no soup dis time. The price is RM6.50 (worth or not, see urself the pics below).

Chickenrice shop (The Spring)

Well just wondering why the branch here is lack people comin, if in KL would be full i guess. In my opinion the chicken rice served is much better than SCR.. I had my complete butter chicken rice set(rice+butter chicken+vegetable+ soup+drinks) for around RM 14 (forgot oledi). The tauhu and braised eggs was our side dish. The ads in tv showed foods served her, so i just put up the pics for the foods we ate..

Nasi Ayam Penyek

This time i would recommend the restaurant only for this one particular food called Nasi lelapan/ Nasi Ayam penyek. It really opens up my appetite with the sambal & ulam. The chicken is as usual but was penyek. All these were served with rice and soup. The picture is without the rice and soup. Well if you felt like wanna eat spicy (from the sambal) come to this place. Tried other places Nasi Ayam Penyek but like this one the best! Other dishes to me are normal and warning at times the service (waiters) can be quite bad :(

Aleya, seorang gadis yang cantik dan berlatarbelakang keluarga sederhana, dalam diam menyimpan perasaan dengan seorang anak tokoh korporat yang ternama yang merupakan rakan sekuliahnya di Universiti, Syed Aizril. 4 stars : Saya suka sangat cita ni, dah lama beli tapi baru berkesempatan nak baca. Recommended to my frens yg suka baca novel gak. Plot cita gaduh2, konflik and penipuan dalam internet (messenger la) and time geng diorang plan kenakn hero heroin. Kasut biru heroin dapt balik, kopi susu tu sebab heroin dia cerah, hero dia...:)

I went to this place together with the others (a lot of us actually). I'm looking for nice indonesian food..as i kind of miss it a lot (stayed in jakarta for 3 years n grows fond of the food :p).
Well, in terms of taste and price i can say it was fairly in my opinion..
But it does bring some memories back, wish to bring my other family members here too, my mom sure like it but of course wif some comments..The workers are indonesian i guess as they speak their language. Some of the delicacies - es teler (drink), sayur asem..

Jentayu Black Pepper House

Long to try this place, tried once...feel like coming back again but only if there's no other place (different person has different taste buds kay..:p). It is a self-service food outlet, but u still have to wait for the foods to be served. I ate spaghetti here (quite nice), my housemates takes their own choice too..Only two meals shown here, the rest tak sempat (hungry, so they ate first :p)

Secret Recipe

All my time favourite!! I really loves the cakes sold here...I was happy when it first open in Kuching 2 year ago, now having more outlets with the latest in Satok (more nearer to my house). Back in JB, i love to go there with my sis not forgetting to buy my mom's fav tiramisu. Before, i've only tried the cakes but recently i ordered the meal as well. I give a thumb to it (i ate noodle in tom yam + watermelon juice). So far the cakes i've tried here is the choc indulgence, oreo cheese cake, trans-fat free peach cake - does not make u feel guity,hehe...,mango cake (yummy :p) and carrot cheese cake - not nice :( . BUt eating all these sure make u gain weight but once in a while, ok ma..:)

Near the word CARNIVORE, so thus the specialty is MEAT, :) It is situated at Bintawa, Pending area near the Pos Laju Office (old one)..quite far from Kuching but managed to find. Well 8 of us were having our lunch there today. One word to describe my condition today..FULL. I'm very full to the extend i felt that it's up to my limit. For my first visit, i'm quite confused at first with the buffet. It cause u per pax around RM38.20 (including tax). Don't ever order the drinks (not nice..) just be satisfied with the plain water. Well what do i eat today is mostly the appetizers (mostly vegetables, salads, hams, and mushroom soup) at first. Later, we were then served with 12 different MEAT dishes in slices (fish, lamb, beef, chicken in different parts & simple hotdog). Your money really worth it!

Tempayan

Thanx to Lsp again, for bringin me to this place. Well it was really designed for workers and students. Although it has hotel restaurant look-alike, but it was not expensive. basically can be afforded. The one i really want to highlight here is the teh tarik is served in big glass and has similar price with normal glass juices. This Tempayan restaurant is situated at 3rd floor Crown Tower just beside the Crown plaza. Pics showed food we ate that day, don't remember the name.. But this sure is a choice of good place to eat!

Atmosfera..dine with ambience

Just recently open...as always its the new lunch for my friends and i. It is a 2 floor restaurant open from 7 a.m to 11 p.m. My opinion is the lunch buffet is the cheapest so far around RM14/15 per person. From main course to dessert and drinks. Besides the a la carte menu like all the fried rice & mee are all fairly price. Its located at Lot 7434, S/L 10781-10782 Jalan Simpang Tiga, 93300 Kuching, Sarawak; opposite The Spring Mall.

Mango Tree

Actually this place i've gone for dinner during my chinese new year holiday break (not going back home) so hang out with LSP. Of course its after her new year celebration. Don't remember the price and the name of the foods already...but one dessert that i really like is the mango slices with pulut+ santan (its delicious!). By seeing the foods, can figure out what is that, hehe...And of course i'll never left out my Teh tarik. As it was during chinese new year i also got two mandarin oranges.

Fridays

Emm..Fridays is another fast food outlet a bit like KFC but...
it got its difference in chicken and potato. As i really love potato, beside McD's French fries, i put the potatoes sold here as my second choice. Well other than the same set meal, fast food outlet serves you with similar price.. the fried chicken (wings, drumstick etc. ) has 3 flavour : original, hot&spicy, and plum (i love this). The potatoes are actually sweet potatoes fried like wedges in KFC (yummy..). Here's the pics but not from my visit, credits to LSP for providing me these.
